Bryan Press

Mr. Press has been a practicing attorney for over 30 years. He is licensed in Florida (1983) and New Jersey (1984). He is admitted to the Federal District Court and
U.S. Bankruptcy Court of the District of New Jersey. He is also admitted to the 3rd and 11th Circuits. Mr. Press has been engaged in the field of creditor rights and Insolvency since starting practice in 1984. His experience with law firms and in his own practice (1991-2012) has been in commercial, transportation and maritime collections, as well as federal and state insolvency. He has appeared pro hac vice on maritime collections in numerous states and Puerto Rico. He has served as debtors counsel in all forms of bankruptcy. He has served as counsel to trustee, and counsel to unsecured creditors committee. He has served as counsel to assignor and as an assignee for the benefit of creditors. His experience as a practicing litigator served him well during his work for a large regional commercial bank as a special assets officer. The skills in that position included negotiations, workouts and counsel liaison and review for manufacturing & industrial (M&I) and commercial real estate (CRE) litigation.
Presently, Mr. Press is Metro Group Maritime's litigation liaison specialist and supervisor of local counsel. He undertakes the review of files in-house to ascertain the eligibility and viability of the claim in litigation and then coordinates with local counsel to effect prosecution.. Further, Bryan helps to streamline the collection and/or litigation processes.
